Installation and certification are carried out by our qualified technicians to the relevant Australian Standards.

The flammable liquid specialist. Foam extinguishers cover Class A and Class B, which makes them the go-to where fuels, oils, solvents or paints are stored alongside ordinary combustibles. Common on fuel storage areas, workshops, plant rooms, paint stores, transport depots and manufacturing floors.

Rated for

  • A — timber, paper, cardboard, packaging and textiles
  • B — petrol, diesel, oils, solvents, paints and other flammable liquids

Foam works in two ways. It cools the fuel like water does, and it forms a blanket across the surface of a burning liquid that seals in the vapours feeding the fire. That blanket is what stops reignition — a real advantage over powder, which knocks the flames down but leaves the surface exposed.

Important: foam must never be used on live electrical equipment. Sites with electrical risk should pair a foam unit with CO2 or ABE powder.

Every unit includes

  • 9L capacity for sustained discharge on larger fires
  • Corrosion-resistant cylinder with durable powder-coated finish
  • Pressure gauge for fast visual checks during routine inspections
  • Squeeze-grip operation with safety pin and tamper seal
  • Wall bracket included
  • Made to AS/NZS 1841.4 and ActivFire listed

Best suited to

  • Fuel storage areas and refuelling points
  • Workshops, plant rooms and mechanical bays
  • Paint stores, chemical stores and solvent handling areas
  • Transport depots and vehicle fleets
  • Manufacturing and processing floors

Servicing: foam extinguishers require a six-monthly service under AS 1851, plus pressure testing every five years and replacement of the foam charge every five years. We can set your site up on a scheduled service program so your compliance records stay current.

  • Handles both ordinary combustibles and flammable liquids in a single unit
  • Foam blanket seals the fuel surface and stops vapours reigniting
  • Made to AS/NZS 1841.4 and ActivFire listed, with wall bracket included
