Fixed Fire Hose Reels

The standard first-attack water supply for commercial and industrial buildings. A fixed fire hose reel gives occupants a controllable, continuous flow of water to tackle a Class A fire — timber, paper, fabric and plastics — before it takes hold, mounted permanently to the wall and always ready.

Where they're used

• Offices, retail, warehouses and factories
• Car parks, plant rooms and back-of-house areas
• Anywhere the building code calls for hose reel coverage

Each reel carries up to 36 metres of hose and throws a usable jet several metres beyond that, so a single reel covers a wide floor area. The hand-control nozzle adjusts from jet to spray and shuts off at the nozzle.

Every reel includes

• Steel drum with a durable powder-coated finish
• Non-kink hose with hand-control shut-off nozzle
• Isolating valve and inlet connection
• Made to AS/NZS 1221 and installed to AS 2441

Available sizes

• 36m × 19mm — the standard size for most buildings (480mm or 540mm drum, plus short-inlet options for tight spaces)
• 50m × 19mm — extended reach for larger floor plates
• 30m × 25mm — larger 25mm bore for higher flow where required

Servicing: fire hose reels require six-monthly inspection and annual flow testing under AS 1851. We can place your site on a scheduled service program so your compliance records stay current.
