The fastest way to smother a small fire before it spreads. A fire blanket cuts off the oxygen to the flames — ideal for cooking oil and fat fires, small appliance fires and clothing fires — and needs no training, no discharge and no clean-up. Mounted in a quick-release pouch, it's the essential companion to an extinguisher in any kitchen or tea point.

Made from woven glass-fibre that withstands high temperatures, the blanket sits in a wall-mounted container with pull-tapes for one-motion release. Because it simply smothers the fire there's no residue and nothing to recharge — after use it's discarded and replaced.

Servicing: fire blankets require six-monthly inspection under AS 1851 and replacement after any use. We can include them on your scheduled service program so your compliance records stay current.
