ABE Dry Chemical Powder Fire Extinguishers

The workhorse of commercial fire protection. ABE extinguishers cover the three fire types you're most likely to face on site, which makes them the standard fit-out for offices, warehouses, workshops, fleets and construction sites across Australia.

One extinguisher covers

• A — timber, paper, packaging, textiles and plastics
• B — fuels, oils, solvents, paints and other flammable liquids
• E — live electrical equipment such as switchboards, plant and power tools

The dry powder smothers the flames and coats the fuel source, reducing the chance of reignition. It also works where water can't be used, which is why it suits mixed-risk sites better than any other single unit.
